Tonight we packed our team hockey bags. On PAN mission trips we pack our checked luggage with donated items for those in need down in Nicaragua. Each person is allowed 2 checked bags at 50 pounds each and so we packed 20 bags with donated items and kept 4 for personal items too big for our carry on luggage such as work boots and some tools. Virtually all of our personal items--clothing etc must be taken in carry-on luggage and a knapsack. We have access to laundry in Nicaragua and so this is plenty of luggage space. The first picture is of Jim weighing his hockey bag to
ensure it does not exceed the weight limit. The other shows the team with the packed bags.
Next post should come after we are on the ground in Nicaragua. (Submitted by Mark Hofstee)
